Mary 's Story

Life I'm a mother of five children, four grown and one teenager. I'm also the grandmother of three .A granddaughter named Shayla Maree who is 6 years old and 4 years old Well this is the latest grandson named Tay'Shon Markus and last their youngest brother 3old Christian Jorden. I'm a part-time computer specialist by chosing and soon to retire to spend more time with my grandchildren. My life is more then i thought it would be a graduate of La Salle university and Lincoln-Tech,you could say that my life has been rewarding. On the personal note there is someone who was missing out of my life and his name is HJNeal who is back and i just hope one day he will enter back into my life for good and that's because he is the other part of my life. Then and only then is when i can say that my life is complete. Also two of my five children graduated this May from the police academy and now they're both police officers in our town also they're traffic officers and my son went a little further he's a security guard at the Eagles Lincoln Field. If anything comes up keep checking back and you just might find something else.Well this is the latest news my younger daughter who is 18 has been choosen to appear in this book that they have every year from all the states one student is picked from each grade that student has the highest grade point average and she was picked this year back in 1993 my oldest son was picked so you can see why i'm so glad of all of my children and grandchildren. So like i said before keep checking to see if anything has come up and you just might find some more news.Well hello everyone i said that if anything came up you would know it.Well my youngest daughter who is 17 soon to be 18 this year. She was picked to be in this miss teen contest she would be for NJ if she decides to do this also there was award given to her for the project she made and it was displayed in the Mall where we live at and she could get to go to college free of charge if things go well, which i hope so. My oldest son has moved up on his job which i'm very happy for him and my daughter is getting married for the second time to a very nice guy but this time she said that she's not going to rush into this one so fast.Sometimes we have to learn from our mistakes in order to do better, and i wish her the best.As for me i'm trying real hard to forgive the guy who set our house on fire because our cat died,he has been in court twice and said he didn't do it, but next month he will go on trial and i hope he pays for what he has done it wan't bring back the things we lost or our cat but a least maybe we will be able to see things more clearly. On that note that's it for now but keep checking back there maybe some more news. School Well being a graduate of Woodrow Wilson class of 69 it did have it's draw backs, but all in all it...Expand for more
was a rewarding experience to me.I think if i could go back in time to relive those days in high school, then i would because i left so many good friends behind some i have seen and some i will never get to see.I only wished that i could have done more things in school then i did but every one that graduated at Wilson that year knew the situations there and the surroundings. So you just made the best of what you could do at that time.Who would ever think that i went to high school while during college courses as well and end up having a college degree before graduating from high school. Now try that one on for size and they said it couldn't be done. Well i'm here to say that it could be done and it was because i'm the one who did it and that in it's self says alot to me. College Well there really isn't much to tell about my college days, being the youngest one there it in it's self was challenging, rewarding and experience that i would never forget.Sure they had their own little groups, clubs and pleadges but they wasn't for me too much going on and i didn't need it at the time.Besides they were older then me and more experience.I could see it was different and kind of fun being the new kid on the block as well as the youngest. The funny thing about all of this the very ones that didn't talk to me when i came there are some of the ones that end up being my friends before i left,so once again you can really make the best of all types of situations,be it good or bad if you just use your head and keep your cool. Workplace Now on to my job well i started out in the mail room dealing with the in coming mail then moved up to where i was until 1972 when i left from that company.I got a job working for this mailing company during the same type job as at my other job computers, all the while attending another college now i'm part-time with this company and that was because i wanted to be near my daughter when she was expecting..I've been with this last company for over 30 years and i would like to retire next year if the timing is right if not then i'll stay.Well since then i have left my job not by choice but health wise but make no mistake i miss my job but being home has it's advantages i get to see my granddaughter and grandson more and to be able to spend more time with them.I do some work at home but it's not the same as being at my job having my own desk, computer and other things, but for now this is where i have to be and i'm dealing with it just as long as i'm doing something. One good thing is you can take coffee or tea breaks which ever you choose and stay on break as long as you like. Also you can take off anytime you like without getting any feed backs. So now that you have read about most of my life's story what do you.Anyone here who remembers me and would like to write me feel free to do so ok.
